Role Context
- Develop back-end services using Java and the AWS stack
- Develop front-end services using React
- Support and improve the continuous delivery process
- Take ownership of the software you and your team build, from analysis to production and support
- Support your development team to ensure standards stay high and keep getting higher
- Be part of the development team, improving the code base and suggesting new tools, technologies and ways of working.
- Participate in the architecture and contribute to embedding software best practices
- Work with the Product Management and Engineering Management to prioritise features and improvements
- Release management skills
Key Requirements

You have:
- 5+ years of experience as a developer
- 3-5 years experience with Javascript (specifically typescript) and Java
- 3-5 years experience with React or other front end framework (Angular, Vue, Javascript)
- Ambition and a hunger for growth and development
- Examples of products that you have personally helped build and ship to production
- The right to work in the UK
- Experience with leading a team of developers - preferable
- Knowledge and experience with Spring Boot - preferable
- Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) - preferable
- Knowledge and experience with writing RESTful APIs - preferable
